- God takes us down dark paths, because God is light
- Burning Bush,
- Who are you?
- When land-fills over flow
- And our oceans die
- We are at our own ruin
- Where are you God?
- Why do you not intervene when nations slaughter nations
- And the innocent suffer
- Suffer beyond our imagination
- Where are you?
- We do not listen
- We over speak to you
- Babbling on
- We over flow with our own ideas
- Babbling on and on to you, O God
- Instead of emptying
- And seeking to be filled by you, God
- our wants and
- petty needs occupy our minds
- If we stood before the bush
- Would we stand in awe
- Would we fall prostrate
- Would we explain our status attempting to justify our lives
- Would we weep for our lacking
- Would we weep for the slothful destruction of our humanity
- Would we be different
- We simply do not look for the enflamed speaking bush
- For God is present and calling
- In Peace and Justice and
- Love and Hope
- After The dark night of the soul , Light comes
- And the burning bush does not consume
- But Spurs us into active silence
- Emptying of self
- And prostrate filling
- Of wisdom
- Come lord Jesus, come
- In your presence, we are forever changed
- Re-member your people
- Come Lord Jesus, Come
